TIG WELDER & FITTER – AFTERNOON (2:30pm-11:00pm)

DCL International Inc. – Concord, ON
$26/hr – $29/hr
Our company is an Environmental Engineering manufacturer located in Concord, ON and we are looking for both a Tig Welder & Fitter!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Weld and Fit products according to specified blueprints and procedures
  2. Build products from blueprints and ensure internal quality measures are applied
  3. Conduct initial inspections of product to ensure adherence to safety and quality
  4. Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional and safe manner

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  1. Only Canadian Citizens, PRs, or valid Work Permit holders will be considered
  2. High School Diploma and/or Welder Trade certification (an asset)
  3. 3-5 years of welding and/or fitting experience
  4. Experience with TIG Welding or Fitting of thin gauge stainless steel
  5. Ability to use lifting devices and jib crane
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
  7. Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, organize deadlines and priorities
  8. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, and technical manuals
  9. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with strong attention to detail
  10. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  11. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills
  12. Strong team player
  13. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  14. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Schedule: 8 hour shift (Monday to Friday)
