Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Ticket Operations, the Ticket Operations Coordinator supports the areas of ticket allocation, ticket inventory control, ticket resolution, order fulfillment, ticket distribution, preparing ticket office invoices, statements and settlement sheets as it relates to events at TD Place and Regional Events. The successful candidate will be required to work all events at TD Place.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the TD Place Ticket Office;
  • Build events and sell tickets for events at TD Place;
  • Set up season manifests, events, and ticket inventory within the ticketing systems, using Ticketmaster platform including Archtics, Account Manager, TM1 and TM Host;
  • Work directly with internal departments for ticketing fulfillment;
  • Responsible for data integrity as it relates to information being inputted into Ticketmaster;
  • Coordinate internal communication channels to ensure information is being communicated in a timely and effective manner;
  • Oversee Ticketing and Client Support for the Ottawa 67’s and other Professional Sports Teams as assigned;
  • Build and maintain the teams’ season including full season plans, single games, parking, playoff and other ancillary events as needed;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with external sporting organizations by providing exceptional customer service;
  • Provide exceptional client support and offers ticketing recommendations as needed;
  • Support in training sales staff on the ticketing system;
  • Responsible for managing game/event nights in the Box Office;
  • Assist in Box Office cash reconciliation on an event night, weekly, and monthly basis;
  • Ensure each event/game is balanced and money in ticketing system matches cash on hand and debit settlements, documenting any differences;
  • Generate Event Reports for internal and external stakeholders;
  • Additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What’s Needed

  • Post-Secondary degree preferred – strong preference for business/sport management focus;
  • 1-2 years of box office experience is preferred;
  • Excellent relationship building and people skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external clients at all levels within the organization;
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner;
  • Highly organized with outstanding administrative and time management skills;
  • Have a positive mindset and jump in on a ‘one team one vision’ culture;
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities;
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required;
  • Additional Assets:
  • Experience using sports ticketing systems (Ticketmaster (Host/Archtics));
  • Bilingualism in French and English.
