Job Title: Integration Developer / TIBCO Administrator
Contract Duration:24 Months
Work Type: Offsite (Flexible)
Location:Regina, SK

Job Summary:

  • Our client is seeking experienced Integration Developers to join the Enterprise Integration team.
  • In this role, you will design, develop, support, and guide the implementation of system and application integration services utilizing the TIBCO toolset.
  • Your work will support both critical operational systems and key project initiatives that directly impact the business operations and customers.
  • These roles offer flexible work arrangements (onsite, remote, or hybrid) and may require occasional after-hours support, including rotational on-call responsibilities and overtime during critical release periods.
  • These positions may be extended based on workload and project timelines through the end of the Vendor of Record program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using TIBCO middleware and API technologies.
  • TIBCO Administrator collaborates with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement and maintain APIs, web services, and integration components, ensuring seamless interoperability across systems.
  • Monitor integration solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, often in time-sensitive or critical environments.
  • TIBCO Administrator works with the security team to ensure all integration activities meet the client's data security and governance standards.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and process flows.
  • Support full testing lifecycle activities, including unit, end-to-end, data validation, and performance testing.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of integration standards, patterns, and reusable components.
  • Stay current with integration technology trends and best practices and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Required Qualifications
Education & Certification
  • Relevant post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Certifications related to the TIBCO platform (preferred).

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software integration development, including:
  • TIBCO Enterprise Message Service, TIBCO BusinessWorks, and Boomi API Management (formerly TIBCO Mashery).
  • Development of SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Java and Java Message Service (JMS).
  • Managed File Transfer (MFT).
  • Working with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience delivering successful integration projects using tools like:
  • TIBCO Designer, Administrator, Policy Director, Hawk, and Adaptor.

Solid experience in:
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Designing and implementing secure, scalable integration solutions using SOA and microservices architecture.
  • Integration technologies and languages (e.g., JavaScript, XML, XSD, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL).
  • Network architecture, security, and SSL implementation.
  • Using Oracle databases and writing complex SQL.
  • Thorough understanding of core computer science and engineering principles:
  • Object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, software testing, debugging, and configuration management.

Nice to Have Experience
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development, especially with Integration Suite and the Cloud Application Programming model.
  • Integration with Microsoft Azure services and platforms.

Additional Notes
  • On-call rotation is required to provide after-hours support for integration services.
  • Overtime may be required during key project milestones and production release windows.
  • Some integration services are mission-critical, supporting essential client operations and customer services.
