Job description
THTR 121- Costume Design Class and Labs - Winter 2026

An introduction to the craft of costume construction, pattern drafting, sewing techniques, mask making and their application to theatre costumes. Skills may be applied to department projects conceived and realized by the class.

Position Requirements: Demonstrated ability to teach costume making and supervise the construction of costumes for Department productions. Experience working in a professional theatre, and teaching at the post-secondary level is required.

Physical Demands: Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement

Schedule: THTR -121-001/090/091 is currently scheduled on campus:
Tuesdays, 9:30 – 12:15p.m. (Lecture)
Thursdays, 9:30 – 12:15 p.m. (LAB)
Thursdays, 1:00 – 3:45 p.m. (LAB)
