The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated full-time team member for its thrift store in Canada. You will greet customers and donors, process transactions, and help maintain a safe, organized sales floor with a strong emphasis on service and integrity.
Responsibilities include handling donations, restocking, and supporting volunteers while upholding OH&S standards. The role offers a stable schedule and opportunities to contribute to the organization’s mission.

This is a regular full-time position based upon 40 hours per week. This job requires the ability to stand for long periods with frequent twisting, bending, crouching, and reaching is required; the ability to lift/move 40 pounds. The incumbent may be exposed to moving objects and angry people. The incumbent must take the following precautionary measures in addition to health and safety rules and regulations such as universal precautions, i.e., wearing gloves when working with unknown contents. Work schedule may vary from week to week and will include weekdays and/or Saturdays. Your supervisor sets the hours of work and work schedule and flexibility in scheduling is required.
Normal Hours of Work: Hours of work and work schedule will be set as per Thrift Store operational requirements, generally regular business hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, and a ½ hour unpaid meal break will be provided when required.
The target hiring range for this position is $17.60 to $21.03 with a maximum of $25.23. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
