The Salvation Army in Lindsay, Ontario is seeking a casual/relief store associate to assist with daily retail operations in our thrift store. You will greet customers, handle cash and debit transactions, and help keep the store tidy and stocked while following health and safety guidelines.
Requirements include completion of secondary school and a minimum of three months of related experience; cash handling and POS familiarity are essential.

This is a casual/relief position based on no standard weekly hours of work; work will be offered on an as needed basis.
There are no guaranteed hours and shifts could include weekdays and Saturdays.
Ability to stand for long periods with frequent twisting, bending, crouching, and reaching is required.
Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Thrift Store hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday 9:00-4:00 and Saturday 9-1. Flexibility is required.
Completion of Secondary School.
The target hiring range for this position is $17.60 to $19.85 with a maximum of $23.82. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
