Job summary

Intact is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Modeling Specialist to lead threat modeling across applications, systems, and AI use cases. You’ll collaborate across product, architecture and DevSecOps to embed security in design and delivery, and oversee security findings from discovery through remediation.

The role requires extensive information security experience, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to mentor teammates on threat modeling and secure design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 5+ years in Information Security.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of multi-cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with threat modeling tools and diagramming tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security point of contact for technology initiatives and sign-off before go-live.
• Lead threat modeling for applications, systems, services, and AI use cases using established methodologies.
• Develop threat-modeling materials like data flows and architecture diagrams. Identify assets and boundaries.
• Assess threats and translate findings into prioritized security requirements and mitigations.
• Support security activities including pen testing, SAST/DAST, code reviews, and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, DevSecOps and risk teams to embed security into workflows.
• Manage security findings in JIRA and document follow-up actions.
