United Parcel Service, Inc. in Thornhill, Ontario is seeking a part-time seasonal Package Helper to assist with deliveries and pickups in local neighborhoods. The role involves walking to deliver and collect UPS packages, outside in all weather, with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

The shift runs 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, up to 25 hours/week. Training is provided, and advancement opportunities exist within UPS.

This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations in and around Thornhill Area. *NO DRIVING REQUIRED* The role involves working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, which requires continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages. This position is essential to providing excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted.
• Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
• Meet UPS driver at assigned local meet point
• Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively
• Learn and properly execute UPS package handling/delivery methods
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required
• Record, track, and maintain information about delivered package
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the company-provided vest and uniform
