UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. in Thornhill, Ontario is seeking a part-time seasonal helper to assist UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pickups in and around the Thornhill area. No driving required; the role involves lifting, carrying, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Workdays are Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3–5 hours daily, up to 25 hours weekly. Compensation is $18.15 per hour with paid training and weekly pay; opportunities for advancement within a Fortune 50

• Meet UPS driver at assigned local meet point.
• Deliver and pick up UPS packages efficiently and effectively.
• Learn and properly execute UPS package handling/delivery methods.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
• Record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages.
• Comply with UPS appearance guidelines by wearing the provided vest and uniform.

Job Description:

This part-time seasonal position assists UPS Package Drivers with deliveries and pick-ups of UPS packages at UPS drop boxes and customer locations in and around Thornhill Area.

*NO DRIVING REQUIRED* The role involves working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment, which requires continuous lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages. This position is essential to providing excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication.

Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary Seasonal

Work Location: Thornhill (L4K/L4J/L4T), ON

Workdays: Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days)

Shift Time: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs)

Hourly Wage: $18.15/hourly

REQUIREMENTS:

• This is a part-time position, must be able to work 3-5 hours a day, various start times available between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Flexibility required)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must be able to deliver packages by means of walking
• Hours may vary depending on the work volume

EXPENSES/WORKING CONDITIONS
