Third Cook

Every memorable dining experience at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts begins behind the scenes with our Culinary team's commitment to safe, efficient operations and exceptional cuisine. As a Third Cook, the care you devote to preparing each menu item will not go unnoticed by the guests who are fortunate enough to enjoy them!

This is a full-time, permanent position, starting August 20, 2025.

Starting Pay Rate: $21.60 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $25.00.

Job Duties Include:
  • Prepare dishes accurately, ensuring consistency of food preparation
  • Work closely with the Sous Chefs and/or Culinary leadership to address any concerns or challenges efficiently
  • Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards, and follow all safety and sanitation policies
  • Self-motivated, to perform individual tasks at a dependable level
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment


Qualifications

  • One years' experience working in the culinary field
  • Diploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
