The Position

Executive Chef John Cordeaux and his culinary leadership team are seeking a passionate and creative Third Cook to join their team. If you are looking for a career in culinary arts with opportunities for development, we invite you to become part of our exemplary culinary team of professionals!

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare food under the supervision of the Sous Chef
  • Make cold trays and sandwiches
  • Prepare salads, dressings, vegetables, and fruits
  • Bake, roast, steam, broil, and cook food
  • Ensure proper presentation and garnishment of dishes
  • Maintain inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • High School diploma
  • At least one (1) year of recognized culinary experience in a fast-paced restaurant
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma from a recognized culinary program (preferred)
  • Passion for food is essential
  • Experience in hot and cold food preparation (preferred)
  • Envision a career in the culinary industry
  • Desire to develop and learn new skills
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
