Thermal Spray Technician (HVOF) – Taskmaster Technologies Inc.

Job Description:

Taskmaster Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled Thermal Spray Technician with expertise in High-Velocity Oxy-Fuel (HVOF) coatings. The successful candidate will perform a full range of thermal spray operations, ensuring that all work meets the high standards and expectations of our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and pull necessary tooling and materials for thermal spray applications.
  • Set up equipment, tooling, and materials for each project efficiently.
  • Configure parameters and input instructions for robotic thermal spray equipment.
  • Apply thermal spray coatings to both new and refurbished parts.
  • Utilize problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills effectively.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the department and work facility.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and manage challenging setups independently.
  • Operate precision measurement equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
  • Consistently produce high-quality finished products.
  • Verify finished work conforms to specified requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Significant and relevant experience in thermal spray operations (HVOF preferred).
  • Ability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision.
