The department emphasizes four pillars: Collaborative Practice, Wellness, Patient and Family Centered Care, and Innovation, guiding service development for all patients and families.
The Allied Health department provides inpatient and outpatient services. Under supervision from the Allied Health Assistant Manager and support from the Clinical Practice Leader, the Therapy Assistant is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, working individually and as part of an inter-professional team under the guidance of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, among others.
