Job description

We are a warm, collaborative group of 10 friendly therapists, primarily RCCs, with some team members holding additional certifications such as CCC or RSW. Our practice is rapidly growing in South Surrey, and we’re currently seeking a compassionate, experienced therapist to join our team.

Our client base is overflowing, and we have an active waitlist. You can take on as many clients as you feel comfortable with , ideally, we hope for a minimum caseload of 12–20 clients per week.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate:

  • Has at least 2–3 years of post-master’s clinical experience
  • Is trained in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, or Gottman
  • Is confident supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, and depression
  • Has specialized experience in couples counselling, adolescent/teen therapy, and/or perinatal mental health (preferred but not required)
  • Is comfortable working with a diverse caseload
  • Speaks additional languages (an asset)
  • Is open to exploring a unique remote work contract option — potentially traveling for one week per month, compensated at $9,000/month (optional)

Availability & Scheduling

  • A minimum of 3 shifts/week (2 in-person at our South Surrey office + 1 virtual)
  • Daytime availability during the week is preferred
  • Evening and Saturday shifts available
  • Flexibility to build your own schedule with both in-person and virtual shifts

Requirements

  • A completed Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or Child and Youth Care
  • Must be a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of post-graduate experience
  • Own professional liability insurance
  • Comfort with evidence-based practices and strong documentation skills
  • Commitment to client-centered, trauma-informed care
