Job summary

Cineplex Fredericton is seeking a General Manager to oversee location operations, drive profitability, and lead a theatre team toward an exceptional guest experience. You will liaise with Home Office, vendors, and departments to ensure policy compliance and strategic goals are met.

Responsibilities include staff supervision, financial management, scheduling, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven staff supervision and field operations experience.
• At least 4 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or service industry.
• Strong sales and leadership abilities.

• Demonstrate strong communication (oral & written), organization, management and leadership skills to lead a theatre team in a positive environment.
• Demonstrates strong financial acumen.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Execute innovative and creative sales and food service activities.
• Strong computer aptitude.
• Demonstrate understanding of provincial Health & Safety regulations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities, attend to employees development while meeting financial targets and reporting responsibilities.
