Job description

$53,738 to $60,006 annually. Salary scale and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

  • Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal).
  • Completed a Degree program in Technical Theatre at a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent with three years related work experience in a wide variety of technical theatre related areas or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience and ability to work with both Lighting and Sound is a requirement
  • Good working knowledge of safety measures used in a workshop/performance setting.
  • Physically capable of the manual labour related to constructing and maintaining sets.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with faculty, staff, students and community users and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
This regular, full-time (35 hours per week) 10-month repeating term position is available starting September 1, 2025. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. The position is located at the New Westminster campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at the Coquitlam campus.
