Overview

Designer Brands Canada is looking for a part-time Supervisor for our Shoe Co. banner. You will report to the Store Manager and assist in leading the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will model service standards and lead the team to achieve store objectives, including in-store sales, web orders, and goals as directed by the Store Manager. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate and execute on operational excellence will be key to your success.

Key responsibilities
  • Assumes a leadership role with responsibility for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintains exceptional product knowledge and industry trend knowledge.
  • Facilitates achievement of business results by role modelling a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity that will foster positive customer connections and loyalty.
  • Coaches and provides feedback as directed by Store Management to achieve segment success.
  • Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.
  • Maintains effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager.
  • Open & closes the store proficiently.
