We’re looking for a Store Manager for our The Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward.

As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, which fosters inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, including in-store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problem solve, thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead a dynamic team, and execute operational excellence will be key to your success.

Key job accountabilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assuming a leadership role with accountability for maximizing store results by creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Facilitating achievement of business results by role modeling a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity, fostering positive customer connections and loyalty.
  • Leading an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
  • Recruiting, managing, developing, and training top talent with a love for shoes.
  • Achieving company objectives and enhancing The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
  • Developing and implementing agile business plans to achieve results.
  • Fostering teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
  • Maintaining effective, open communication with Senior Operational Managers.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant post-secondary education.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role.
  • Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large volume top doors.
  • A positive, energetic team player with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to motivate others.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience.
  • Availability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
  • Ability to be mobile within a geographic area.

Pay: $47,880 to $53,200 per year.
