We’re looking for a Store Manager for our The Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward.


As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, which fosters inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, including in-store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problem-solve, thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead a dynamic team, and execute operational excellence will be key to your success.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Maximize store results by creating exceptional customer experiences.
  2. Model a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service, merchandise presentation, and operational integrity to foster customer loyalty.
  3. Manage store operations, including policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
  4. Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent passionate about shoes.
  5. Achieve company objectives and enhance brand image by embodying our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
  6. Develop and implement agile business plans to meet targets.
  7. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
  8. Maintain open communication with Senior Operational Managers.
Qualifications
  • Relevant post-secondary education.
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive retail supervisory experience.
  • Successful track record in achieving sales and profitability targets in large-volume stores.
  • Positive, energetic team player with strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate others.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and shifts.
  • Ability to work within a geographic area.

Pay: $47,880 - $53,200 per year.
