We’re looking for a Store Manager for our The Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward.


As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, which fosters inclusivity and diverse customer connections. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, including in-store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problem-solve, thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead a dynamic team, and execute operational excellence will be key to your success.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Assume leadership role with accountability for maximizing store results by creating exceptional customer experiences.
  2. Facilitate achievement of business results by role-modeling a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity to foster customer loyalty.
  3. Lead an operationally sound business by balancing policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
  4. Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent passionate about shoes.
  5. Achieve company objectives and enhance the brand image by embodying our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
  6. Develop and implement agile business plans to meet results.
  7. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
  8. Maintain effective communication with Senior Operational Managers.
Qualifications
  • Relevant post-secondary education.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role.
  • Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large-volume, top-tier stores.
  • Positive, energetic team player with strong leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate others.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience.
  • Availability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
  • Must be mobile within a geographic area.
