We’re looking for an Assistant Manager for our Shoe Co. banner at Manning Centre who will put their best foot forward.

As an Assistant Manager , you will report to the Store Manager and assist in leading the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. Your responsibilities include coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives such as in-store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and leadership qualities will be key to your success.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Maximizing store results by creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Modeling a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity.
• Managing store operations, including policies, shrink / loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
• Recruiting, managing, developing, and training top talent passionate about shoes.
• Achieving company objectives and enhancing the brand image by embodying our core values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity / Humility.
• Developing and implementing agile business plans to meet results.
• Fostering teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
• Maintaining effective communication with the Store Manager.

Qualifications :

• Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
• Availability to work days, closing shifts, and weekends.
