As we grow, we are seeking a TFW Immigration & Visa Specialist to join our team. This critical role will oversee the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFW) processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and seamless worker transitions for our clients.

Position Overview

The TFW Immigration & Visa Specialist will manage all aspects of immigration and work permit processes under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFW). This individual will be the key point of contact for ensuring legal compliance, processing work permits, and optimizing the visa application experience for both employers and workers.

• Manage end-to-end Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFW) applications, including LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) processing, visa applications, and work permit renewals.
• Guide farmers and employers through the LMIA and visa sponsorship process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist seasonal workers with visa applications, renewals, and documentation requirements.

Regulatory Compliance

• Stay up to date with Canadian immigration laws and TFW regulations, ensuring Yadag and its clients remain compliant.
• Coordinate with government agencies such as Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to ensure smooth application processing.
• Develop and implement best practices for maintaining compliance with immigration policies and labor laws.

Employer & Worker Support

• Provide guidance to employers on hiring foreign workers, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.
• Assist workers with pre-arrival requirements, including visa approvals, medical clearances, and travel arrangements.
• Address visa-related challenges, including delays, application rejections, and appeals.

Process Optimization & Technology Integration

• Work closely with the Yadag platform team to optimize visa automation tools and improve the digital application experience.
• Identify gaps in the visa process and suggest enhancements for efficiency and compliance.
• Support the implementation of AI-driven solutions to simplify LMIA and work permit approvals.

Qualifications

Proven experience in immigration consulting, work permit processing, or visa sponsorship programs (preferably within the TFW or SAWP framework).

Strong understanding of LMIA applications, compliance standards, and temporary foreign worker regulations in Canada.

Experience working with farm employers, seasonal workers, or employment agencies is a plus.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with employers, workers, and government agencies.

Tech-savvy mindset – comfortable working with HR technology, immigration platforms, and compliance tools.

Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving visa challenges and optimizing workflows.

RCIC (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) certification or relevant immigration law background is a plus.
