Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Customer Service Representative will focus on supporting the broader customer service team in executing routine operational activities within the region. This role involves serving as the customer service domain specialist, identifying and sharing best practices, distributing tasks among remote team members, and fostering continuous improvement across regions. The position includes providing refresher training for existing team members, onboarding support for new hires, and participating in performance reviews through coaching and feedback.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure effective execution of daily customer support activities with proper training, documentation, and controls.
  • Complete time-sensitive processes within the team, including daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets and control procedures.
  • Support issue escalation from team members, assisting with customer communication, technical processes, and necessary education or training.
  • Plan and coordinate daily activities to support the team and manage task distribution.
  • Support customer support projects and initiatives.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point, providing support and ownership of complex issues to facilitate faster resolution.
  • Resolve moderately complex issues independently, escalating more difficult problems appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
  • Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Legal eligibility to work for Cargill in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of software applications, reporting tools, and spreadsheets.
  • Understanding of agricultural practices and challenges.
  • Experience with SAP.
