Job summary

Väderstad is seeking a Test Technician to support testing, validation, and continuous improvement of our products. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to ensure equipment meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Engineering technician diploma in mechanical, agricultural, electrical, or related field.
• Eligible for registration with SASTT (asset).
• Experience with farming equipment or agricultural practices is an asset.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor or other CAD systems is an asset.
• Previous experience in equipment testing, mechanical assembly, or field service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup, execution, and documentation of bench tests and field tests.
• Collect, organize, and report test data to design engineers and project teams.
• Support the development and improvement of test procedures and equipment.
• Perform mechanical assembly, adjustments, and modifications required for testing.
• Communicates with internal departments, vendors, and customers as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve product quality, performance, and cost.
