Purpose of the Role:

As a Test Station Design Co-op, you will work as part of the test station and small pilots development team to design and commission test rigs for various projects at Svante.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You are currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering degree.
• You have experience using Office software, Visio, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

What Success Looks Like in This Role:

• Create and review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for test stations.
• Assist in assembling and commissioning the designed test stations in the lab, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot test station start-up, shutdown, and operating performance issues.
• Perform calculations related to heat transfer, flow rates, and gas composition.
• Create engineering documentation to support commissioning, testing, operation, and maintenance manuals.
