Position Overview :

Harbour Industries is hiring a Machine Operator to join our production team! This is a full time, ONSITE role located in Shelburne, VT. This role reports to our production supervisor and operates on a 1st shift schedule M-F 7am-3pm.

Pay rate : $20-$21 / hr

Job Responsibilities :

  • Set up, operate, and adjust machinery according to specifications and operation procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Use gauges and other measurement devices to ensure accurate output of products.
  • Perform in-process quality inspections to ensure product integrity.
  • Work with hand tools efficiently to complete tasks.
  • Read routing sheets to understand and execute production requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and records.
  • Learn and work within different stations, with the ability to be cross-trained on different machines.

Requirements :

  • Adhere to safety standards to create a secure working environment.
  • Possess basic math skills of addition and subtraction.
  • Demonstrate a consistent attendance record.
  • Have reliable transportation to the workplace.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer company-paid physical / drug screen and background check.
  • Team oriented, flexible, and committed to delivering top quality products for important end user applications.
