Description

Position Overview : The client is seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with strong leadership qualities and hands-on experience with key testing tools.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of approximately 10 testers while performing hands-on testing.

This role involves managing the quality of applications end-to-end across the portfolio.

Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end quality of application development lifecycle.
• Optimize and manage resources across the testing lifecycle.
• Plan, manage, and lead the design and execution of test strategies, plans, and scenarios.
• Coordinate test strategies with project managers and stakeholders.
• Establish proactive monitoring and application health dashboards; remain hands-on with granular details.
• Provide practical insights on testing and user stories during development.
• Incorporate AI and automation to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Lead and mentor the testing team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Must Have Skills :

• Solid understanding of the end-to-end application development lifecycle and common pitfalls.
• Expertise in proactively identifying gaps in user stories and following through with test management processes.
• Leadership experience managing a team of approximately 10 testers.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools and processes in service-oriented architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and database testing (SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access).
• Proficiency in project management practices.
• Experience managing the quality of large and complex technical portfolios.
• Understanding of unit testing coverage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
