ALSTOM Gruppe is seeking a Test Laboratory Manager - Hydrogen to lead the design and development of advanced testing solutions for rail systems. This role focuses on scalable laboratory operations, ensuring testing capacity for multiple projects and alignment with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Direct experience managing or working within a hydrogen laboratory environment.
• Hydrogen-related risk assessments
• Installation, testing, repair, and maintenance of gas lines and piping systems
• Hydrogen gas processes and infrastructure
• Laboratory management experience: oversight of technical personnel and operation of laboratory facilities
• Proficiency in hydrogen laboratory instrumentation, data analysis, and test automation systems relevant to rail transportation
• Electrical installations
• Electronics
• Digital communications systems
• Facility-related systems, including laboratory support infrastructure such as chiller loops
• Strong understanding of safety standards, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance in rail or similar systems
• Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills; ability to foster collaboration and drive results.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is $95,000 - $125,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
