Mars Canada is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to drive sales and build strong customer relationships across an assigned territory in Ontario. You will represent our iconic snacking brands in-store, executing merchandising, displays, promotions and seasonal programs with a fast-paced, field-based approach.

You will manage wholesale and retail accounts, present display programs, and ensure products are well-stocked and correctly priced.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Drive approximately 100 km daily for sales calls.
• Maintain movement and physical activity during field work.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Must have vehicle insurance coverage as required.

Responsabilidades

• Sell in and maintain distribution of assigned products.
• Present and execute display programs to customers.
• Present and sell booking sheets to stores.
• Ensure stock and proper display with price tags.
• Replenish display fixtures and secure secondary space.
• Apply POS materials and rotate products for freshness.
• Maintain field sales data in software and plan routes.

Job Description:

As a Territory Sales Representative with Mars Snacking, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong customer relationships across an assigned territory. You will represent our iconic snacking brands in-store, working closely with retail partners to execute impactful merchandising, displays, promotions and seasonal programs. This is a fast-paced, field-based role where you will have the opportunity to make a visible impact on our business by identifying opportunities, executing with excellence and partnering with customers to grow our brands.

What are we looking for?

Education & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is an asset

• Ability to lift product (maximum lifting requirement 50 pounds).

• Ability to drive approximately 100 km daily while making sales calls.

• Ability to sustain repeated movement which includes but is not limited to in and out of car movement, bending, leaning, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping motions.

Knowledge / Experience

• Sales experience would be preferable

• Ability to secure level of vehicle insurance coverage as determined by Mars Canada Inc.

• Valid driver’s license.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Manage wholesale and retail chain accounts with NSV targets.

• As required, serve as a Peer Coach for other regional and team members for onboarding tasks.

• Sell in and maintaining distribution of assigned products.

• Responsible for presenting display programs to customers and suggesting order.

• Presenting and selling booking sheets to stores.

• Ensuring all listed product are stocked and properly displayed on shelves with store price tags.

• Replenishing of display fixtures, including Mars Wrigley Canada racks.

• Working with the customer to secure secondary space for building of display.

• Applying POS or other Marketing materials where applicable.

• Product rotation both on-shelf and in backroom to ensure optimal product quality and freshness.

• Maintain appropriate data (customer Info, survey recording, tracking, etc…) in field sales data collection software.

• Territory management through customer coverage that involves efficient and effective use of time and resources.

• Plan and organise route schedule according to company call coverage model (frequency and time-in call).

• Keep DSM up-to-date regarding territory activity.

• Maintain an adequate stock of relevant merchandising supplies and POS materials.

• Follow company procedures for processing credits/cheques.

• Build and maintain relationships with key store personnel.
