Job description

The ideal candidate will be disciplined and have experience in managing and growing a territory with sales through a distribution network. This candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel and be able to generate new sales leads and close new business on a regular basis. The candidate should be able to keep track of their sales and effectively communicate with other team members while out in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with end user clients
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with our distribution partners
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to grow sales 15% or higher year over year.

Your primary responsibilities as the Territory Sales Manager – Southwestern Ontario will include, but not be limited to:

• Strategic Sales Development Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand UCAN’s presence in the SW Ontario market, with a particular focus on driving growth in the end-user segment. This includes identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and achieving defined sales targets.

• Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, contractors, distributors, and end users, to foster brand loyalty and long-term business partnerships.

• Technical Sales & Specification Engagement Call on engineering firms and engage technically with industry professionals to secure product specifications and position UCAN as the preferred solution provider. Deliver tailored presentations, “lunch and learn” seminars, and product demonstrations to educate and influence stakeholders.

• Territory and Distributor Support Implement territory-specific sales plans and regularly engage in joint customer visits with distributors. Support distributor alignment with UCAN’s sales goals, brand messaging, and market development strategies.

• End-User Training & Field Support Provide hands-on training and technical support to end users, ensuring the correct and safe use of UCAN products. Conduct on-site testing and troubleshoot application challenges as needed.

• Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making and continuously refine the go-to-market approach.

• CRM Management & Reporting Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights using the company’s CRM system. Provide regular updates and reports to support forecasting and performance evaluation.

• Additional Responsibilities Perform other related duties as required to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and the successful execution of UCAN’s sales strategy across the SW Ontario Market.
