Job description

Our client, a multinational food processing and marketing corporation, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for their locations in Mississauga, ON, Toronto, ON, or remotely.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a disciplined, comprehensive approach to servicing the customer base with high quality and professionalism.
  • Establish a regular call cycle with all active retailers and explore opportunities to grow the business.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Collaborate with other functions at BLUE to execute company initiatives and service accounts.
  • Plan, budget, and track promotional events to meet volume goals and objectives.
  • Present innovative solutions, items, and rollout plans that meet account needs and company objectives.
  • Perform problem solving and analytics to analyze market activity and sales trends.
  • Use customer data and BLUE Buffalo strategies to make promotional and product recommendations.
  • Model engaging leadership behaviors to foster an inclusive environment, embrace learning, and demonstrate accountability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years in consumer-packaged goods, preferably in the pet channel.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data for insights.
  • Experience in client sales, cold calling, and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and Salesforce.
  • Pet food and pet retail experience is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, planning, organization, and communication skills.
  • Must be a pet enthusiast.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and attend trade shows and meetings as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
