JOB SUMMARY:

The Territory Manager, Western Canada, will be a key driver in building MD Biologix’s client base by acquiring new business and growing sales of our product portfolio, including Synolis VA and KeyPRP.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent MDBiologix in a professional manner in accordance with the highest standards.
  • Support and manage business relationships with existing clients to increase annual account revenue.
  • Identify and engage with new prospective clients.
  • Support/lead negotiations with prospective clients.
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations/demos.
  • Onboard new clients by establishing product procurement agreements.
  • Discuss sales opportunities and activities with MDBiologix regularly.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information.
  • Act as technical advisor for customers using the product.
  • Keep customers informed with new developments in the field.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a current understanding of the external marketplace and internal capabilities.
  • Expected travel is >25% / month.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Provide insight into the development of new products and markets.
  • Participate in weekly BD update meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum BSc in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Practical knowledge of life sciences and medical devices
  • Sales experience in related industry is highly desirable
  • Detail-oriented problem solver
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills
