Overview

Umano Medical Territory Managers must be able to develop and maintain extensive product portfolio knowledge and demonstrate the ability to match company & product value propositions to customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain extensive product portfolio knowledge and demonstrate the ability to match company & product value propositions to customer needs.
  • Value-added selling skills in accordance with established expectations and standards.
  • Possesses and develops knowledge of all key target customer groups and engages in continuous effort to meet the unique expectations of each in the best interest of Umano Medical.
  • Enhances the customer experience; train, educate, and optimize product knowledge/use of Umano Medical products by all key target customer groups.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of both the customers’ environments and needs to create selling opportunities.
  • Demonstrates flexibility, creative thinking, and accountability when addressing customer requests.
  • Develops business relationships with key decision makers to expedite business opportunities.
  • Prospects for new business opportunities for sales growth in assigned territory and increase customer base.
  • Contract Management: Participate in the RFP/contract process for individual hospitals or for large hospital buying groups (multiyear, multimillion-dollar, sole-source or multi-source bids partnerships).
  • Maintenance of existing business base while engaging in continuous development of new business opportunities.
  • Establish long-term account development strategies.
  • Attend major national conventions and local/regional meetings as determined by sales management.
  • Meet reporting requirements by Regional Sales Director and Umano Medical Corporate Requirements.

  • Computer literate in a Windows Environment, and experience with computerized sales administration system
