Job summary

A leading construction and forestry company is currently seeking a Territory Manager for their Barrie location. This role is responsible for driving sales of specialized equipment such as trenchers, plows, and more throughout the designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer relationships, strategic growth, and be proactive in managing sales documentation and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Sell both new and used Underground & Tree Care equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Travel across entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Engage with growing our customer base.
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies.

Overview

Brandt is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Underground & Tree Care Products for our Barrie Construction & Forestry location. The Territory Manager role will drive sales of Ditch Witch trenchers/plows, mini-skid steers, vac trailers and directional drills, along with Morbark brush chippers and Rayco stump grinders, and/or other material Underground & Tree Care products in your assigned territory.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sell both new and used Underground & Tree Care equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Travel across entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by:
    • Growing our share of our existing customer base’s wallet spend
    • Acquiring new customers
    • Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
    • Building relationships
  • Keep current on customers’ business activities and needs.
  • Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
    • Sales call activities
    • Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Other projects/duties as required.
