Job Description

CONMED Orthopedics seeks an ambitious Territory Manager/Sales Representative to promote our range of Sports medicine implants, instrumentation, Hall Surgical Powered Instruments, 4K Video, Acumed, and MTF biologics. You will sell and promote products within a defined geographic area, develop new accounts, and expand usage in existing accounts to meet sales targets and increase revenue. You will work closely with surgeons and OR staff, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers lucrative, uncapped earning potential and personal fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule sales calls with current and potential customers to meet revenue and unit growth objectives.
  • Develop sales strategies based on product, competition, and pricing needs to effectively promote products to hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Create action plans by analyzing sales data to identify account needs and collaborate with senior management to achieve sales goals.
  • Assess customer needs, product usage, and case types by engaging with physicians and hospital staff to recommend suitable products.
  • Observe procedures in hospital operating rooms to understand physician preferences and nuances.
  • Work with relevant personnel to establish pricing packages that meet customer needs while adhering to company policies.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with related teams.
  • Build relationships with hospital staff across departments to identify key decision-makers and facilitate future sales.
  • Educate customers on product benefits and proper usage through presentations and demonstrations, utilizing various formats and platforms.
  • Manage evaluation, loaner, and sample inventories effectively, ensuring timely returns according to company policy.
Qualifications

  • Excellent time management and adaptability skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable in a clinical environment (operating rooms, hospitals).

Education
  • University Degree (BSc/BA) in business or health-related discipline preferred.
  • Medical background or experience is an asset.
Work Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience required.
Requirements
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Valid G driver's license and clean driving record.
