GSK is looking for a Territory Manager to lead sales across southern Halifax from the South Shore to Yarmouth and Annapolis Valley. This field-based role reports to the Senior District Sales Manager and requires building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in life sciences, business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of customer-facing field sales or territory management experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related commercial environments.
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation, with a business-owner mindset and the ability to proactively identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role while collaborating effectively across teams and building strong relationships to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Experience leveraging data analysis and business insights to optimize territory performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a large geographic region, balance competing priorities, and optimize territory coverage.
  • Exceptional active listening skills, with the ability to adapt communication and sales approaches to meet diverse customer needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively across multiple channels.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel engagement platforms and CRM systems to support territory planning, personalise customer interactions, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment by embracing change, continuous improvement, and new ways of working.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

Job Purpose

GSK is looking to hire a Territory Manager to join our Respiratory Division. This role is field-based and reports directly to the Senior District Sales Manager. This position covers from southern Halifax along the South Shore to Yarmouth and Annapolis Valley. The ideal candidate will reside in or near the territory.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a highly competitive sales environment

  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific research and clinical data in a compelling and compliant manner to support customer, patient, and business needs

  • Knowledge of/previous experience in the Halifax healthcare landscape

  • This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company‑leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements
