Job description

Join Ecolab’s sales team as a Hospitality Territory Service and Sales Manager covering Ottawa and the surrounding areas. Within our industry-leading Institutional division, this outside sales role offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do :

  • Install, repair, and maintain ware washing, laundry, and dispensing equipment, strengthening customer relationships
  • Ensure facilities are operational and teams are trained on safe equipment use
  • Grow sales within your territory through training, service, and demonstrations
  • Prospect and secure new accounts to expand Ecolab’s market presence
  • Learn customer systems and provide expert solutions on cleaning and sanitation
  • Adjust your schedule to meet customer needs

Position Details :

  • Coverage area: Ottawa and surrounding regions
  • Weekend emergency coverage: 1 in 10 weekends
  • Overnight trips: None

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary preferred
  • At least 1 year of outside sales experience
  • Willingness to be on call during off hours and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to travel to the US for training/meetings
  • No immigration sponsorship available

Physical Demands :

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Manipulating heavy items and equipment
  • Bending, stretching, climbing, working on ladders

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in business-to-business sales
  • Industry experience in food service, laundry, hospitality, or related fields
  • Mechanical problem-solving skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
