Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Canada (Surrey region) seeks an Equipment Rental Specialist to support telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of construction and industrial equipment. You will be the front line of contact, understanding customer needs, negotiating, and placing orders while delivering outstanding service.

This role also serves as a backup Delivery Driver, requires safe operation of company vehicles, and strong administrative skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Familiarity with construction/industrial tools & equipment.
• Experience in rental industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person with rental needs.
• Negotiate and place rental orders for equipment.
• Provide backup delivery driver support as needed.
• Maintain accurate administrative records and orders.
• Deliver strong customer service and satisfaction.

Sunbelt Rentals – the fastest growing rental business in Canada – is seeking an Equipment Rental Specialist – You!

The Equipment Rental Specialist is in an inside sales role, responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment. This position is considered the Company’s front line of contact with the customer, whose purpose is to understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders.

This role also includes serving as a backup Delivery Driver when required, supporting the team with equipment deliveries and pickups to ensure seamless customer service. Candidates must be comfortable operating company vehicles and representing Sunbelt Rentals in the field.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

High School diploma or GED required

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract

Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools & equipment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

Previous equipment rental industry experience

Knowledge about parts and equipment

Solid computer and administrative skills

Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and handle equipment transport when required

Base Pay Range

25.68 - 30.49
