Job Description Summary

Kindred Partners is a dedicated cannabis sales broker looking for passionate individuals excited to take on a legalized industry! We need growth-minded individuals to become subject matter experts in cannabis through innovative programming and activation, while providing outstanding customer service.

The Territory Manager will meet or exceed service expectations, promote brands, and fulfill route management objectives. Responsibilities include activating programming and brand concepts, achieving volume, market share, consumer trial, and brand equity targets as per the market plan, and growing brand distribution with appropriate brands in the right accounts. This role requires a passion for consultative selling and specific knowledge of how to sell effectively.

Job Description

Required Duties:

  1. Manage territory coverage to ensure excellent execution.
  2. Plan daily, weekly, or monthly/quarterly activities with clear quotas and distribution objectives.
  3. Maintain and grow existing volume and distribution by building credible, long-term customer relationships.
  4. Manage assigned budget as required.
  5. Execute sales calls using the company’s structured call methodology.
  6. Report on competitive activities within the territory and provide constructive suggestions.
  7. Provide product and brand marketing knowledge through sales aides and staff training seminars.
  8. Collaborate with supplier representatives and management to promote sales.
  9. Enhance marketability of products through effective display positioning, concept selling, and price point management.
  10. Ensure distribution of brands in key purchasing areas of accounts.

Must Be Able To:

  1. Live and demonstrate the company's values.
  2. Exhibit professionalism with internal and external customers.

Required Skills/Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree required.
  2. At least 3 years of selling experience in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.
  3. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills: verbal, listening, and written.
  5. Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Negotiation and influencing skills.
