A leading company is seeking an experienced Territory Manager for Apparel in Eastern Canada. This role focuses on cultivating retailer relationships and achieving sales targets through effective account management and market analysis. The candidate must be bilingual, possess strong sales experience, and be able to travel frequently throughout the region.
About the Role
Ariat is seeking an experienced contract Territory Manager, Apparel, to cultivate and manage sales and retailer relationships in Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick). Ariat will consider candidates who are fluent in French and English and who can travel to accounts in the region at least four days per week using a personal vehicle.
This contract position is 100% commission.
This role will manage all sales functions for assigned accounts to ensure the business grows according to sales projections. The position will be responsible for account financial planning, assortment planning, developing, and implementing sales plans, coordinating product showings, and working closely with customer service to process orders as well as manage and maintain quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

· Regular product showings and account visits
· Regular communication with retailer base
· Providing retailer base with sales reports and analytics in order to drive business and produce top results
· Forecasting of territory business on a seasonal basis
· Territory feedback regarding market trends and influences
· Identifying growth opportunities in territory
· Providing regular product educational feedback to retailers and their staff
· Attending trade shows and seasonal sales meetings
· Coordinating shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services
· Preparing a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
About You
· Valid driver’s license required
· Fluent in English and French
· Ability to travel to accounts at least four days/week
· Strong field sales experience, preferably with apparel
· Ability to reach out to new contacts, establish rapport and establish new accounts
· Confidence in communicating comfortably with business owners and decision makers
· Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, Outlook
· Exceptional written, oral and face-to-face communication skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Able to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, and work independently
· Strong retail math skills
· Self-starter and motivated for success
· Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
· Ability to consistently meet sales goals
· Effective Order book management minimizing sales and credit caused cancellations
· Previous wholesale sales experience is preferred
