Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd. is seeking a Territory Manager for our Saskatoon location to cover the Northwest Saskatchewan territory. The TM will travel frequently, meet customers in the field, and grow sales and rental revenue across construction and forestry equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and used equipment across the designated Area of Responsibility (AOR) to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans by identifying key strategic customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
  • Undertake an average of seven customer visits daily to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Acquire new customers and grow the share of existing customer business through proactive engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams, including Parts and Service, to support customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Travel extensively throughout the AOR to cover all current and prospective account locations effectively.
  • Attend industry events and host customers to promote products, build brand presence, and strengthen client engagement.
  • Keep current on customers’ business activities and changing needs to anticipate and address market opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed customer status reports, including sales call activities and prospect account lists submitted weekly, to support informed sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with Sales Coordinators to schedule equipment check‑ins and delivery parameters, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed and contribute to team goals.
  • Complete all sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner to maintain operational efficiency.

Description

Brandt Tractor Ltd. is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Saskatoon location, responsible for the Northwest Saskatchewan territory.

The Territory Manager (TM) – Construction & Forestry plays a critical role in developing, managing, and growing customer relationships throughout a large and diverse geographic territory. Success in this position requires extensive travel within the Area of Responsibility (AOR), including regular overnight stays, to maintain strong customer engagement and ensure comprehensive territory coverage.

The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time in the field meeting with existing and prospective customers, visiting job sites, identifying opportunities, and developing solutions that support their businesses. This role requires a self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently, managing a travel schedule, and building relationships through consistent face-to-face interaction.

A successful Territory Manager will develop extensive knowledge of all potential users of new and used Construction & Forestry equipment within their designated AOR and actively participate in understanding the purchasing and rental activities of customers throughout the territory. The TM will be responsible for identifying opportunities to increase sales and rental revenue while maintaining regular communication with management regarding customer activity, market intelligence, and competitive developments.

In addition to promoting and selling New and Used Wholegoods, the Territory Manager will identify and develop opportunities across all Brandt divisions, including Parts & Service, On Highway Truck & Trailer, Agriculture, Material Handling, and other products represented or manufactured by Brandt.

Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel, overnight stays, and maintaining a highly visible presence throughout Northwest Saskatchewan. Strong relationship‑building skills, effective time management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service are essential for success in this role.

Previous sales experience and/or knowledge of construction and forestry industries would be considered an asset.
