Job description

Purpose and Scope:

Supports FME Canada’s mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FME Canada Compliance Program, including all regulatory and policy requirements.

Provides superior service, product support, and sales promotion to Canadian dialysis customers within the assigned territory. Functions as an expert resource in hemodialysis (HD), peritoneal dialysis (PD), and pharmaceuticals.

Duties / Activities
Customer Service:
  • Drive the FME Canada culture through values and customer service standards.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships through timely communication.
  • Proactively respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues promptly.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets through promotion of FME products, aligned with management-approved strategies and pricing.
  • Manage expenses according to company policies and submit weekly reports.
  • Report customer complaints regarding FME products in compliance with Health Canada regulations.
  • Utilize provided tools (sales, marketing, CRM) to meet territorial goals and gather local market data.
  • Maintain sales funnels and action plans for all opportunities.
  • Develop account strategies, including identifying key influences.
  • Maintain accurate reports on sales activities, market share, and targets.
  • Identify and develop new accounts; sustain relationships with existing ones, providing support as needed.
  • Ensure consistent sales coverage and understanding of customer needs.
  • Present the advantages of FME products to meet customer needs using customer-focused selling skills.
  • Develop technical and clinical proficiency on all products.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategies to grow territory revenue and profit.
  • Gather and relay field intelligence to marketing for strategic planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is commissioned quarterly.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Requires extensive travel across a large geographic area, including overnight stays. Must be able to set up portable booths and transport medical equipment. Occasional weekend work may be necessary.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum two years in medical sales, nephrology nursing, or biomedical nephrology.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Relationships:

Maintain positive relationships with internal team members and external dialysis customers.
