A leading company in the animal health sector is seeking an Account Manager to achieve sales objectives within Ontario and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders, manage product portfolios, and ensure client satisfaction. Candidates should possess a degree in a relevant field and demonstrated experience in sales within the agriculture sector.
Reporting to our Company's Associate Director of Sales within the Farm Animal Business Unit, the Account Manager is responsible for achieving the annual sales and business objectives within his / her territory by developing, implementing, and monitoring the Territory Tactical Plans, ensuring alignment with Regional and National Business unit objectives. It is essential that the Account Manager demonstrates leadership to foster collaborative relationships and build meaningful partnerships with internal stakeholders and channel partner organizations.
The Account Manager must understand customer needs and maintain client satisfaction while ensuring clear communication of complete product information. This is achieved through ongoing face-to-face and virtual calls with targeted Dairy and Beef Producers, aiming to increase sales and market penetration. Responsibilities also include conducting Continuing Education meetings, attending product and sales training, and participating in conferences and conventions.
The Account Manager develops strong relationships with key customers, including Key Opinion Leaders and community advocates within their geography. Tasks should be carried out in line with our Company's Values, Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards, and legal regulations.
The role involves optimizing business potential through effective analysis, planning, and organization. The Account Manager manages territory data using CRM or other tools and handles administrative duties such as weekly reports, expense reports, and client requests.
This full-time position is targeted for Ontario, Manitoba, and parts of Atlantic Canada, preferably based in Ontario.
