Job summary

Ski Snow Valley 87 Ltd. is looking for Terrain Park Crew members for seasonal, part-time or full-time roles in Snow Valley, Manitoba. Term runs mid-December to end of March, with hours varying and pay at $17.95/hr plus experience-based adjustments.

Responsibilities include park inspections, construction, maintenance, signage, and daily/incident reporting while coordinating with resort departments. Must be 18+, able to ski/snowboard, and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and have own ski or snowboard equipment.
• Skier or snowboarder able to safely test terrain elements.
• Flexibility to work days, weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Terrain Park experience; ParkScapers or Cutter’s Camp training is an asset.

• Perform daily inspections, construction, design and maintenance of the terrain park.
• Maintain terrain park liability signage, fencing and marking.
• Log detailed daily reports and incident reports; communicate with resort departments.
• Explain terrain park safety and etiquette to guests.

Rate: $17.95/hr + depending on previous experience.

Term: Mid December to end of March

Job Overview:

If you are age 18+, have experience riding in the park, enjoy being outdoors and are safety-conscious with excellent communication skills , this could be the position for you. This position requires physical activity and lifting to maintain safe freestyle terrain for skiers and snowboarders. Terrain Park Crew members are responsible for daily inspections, construction, design and maintenance of the park . They are responsible for maintaining Terrain Park liability signage, fencing and marking. L ogging detailed daily reports, incident reporting, and maintaining clear communication with all resort departments are required . Communicating terrain park safety and etiquette to guests is a key part of this role. Candidates must be professional, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full-time, seasonal position only.
• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and have their own ski or snowboard equipment.
• Must be a skilled skier or snowboarder able to safely test elements.
• Must be flexibletowork days, weekends,eveningsand holidays.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• PreviousTerrain Park experience;ParkScapersor Cutter’s Camp training is an asset.
