A leading operations firm in Moncton, New Brunswick is seeking a Terminal Operations Specialist to provide technical support at terminals. This full-time role requires strong problem-solving skills and 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the construction or energy industry. Candidates must be bilingual in English and French, as well as proficient in MS Office tools. Employee benefits include paid time off and health benefits.
The Terminal Operations Specialist, under the direction of the Operations Manager/Project Engineering Group, will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to fuel carriers and field operations at Terminals 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week on a basis. Duties include but are not limited to PQM (Product Quality Management), loading or unloading issues due to account issues, field equipment issues, or access related.
This is a full-time permanent position and will include a variation of day shifts and/or night shifts and will include some weekends. Schedule will vary based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve Product Quality issues and escalate to Product Quality Advisor and/or Terminal Operators if needed.
- Reset/Adjust terminal equipment per documented process.
- Troubleshoot loading/offloading issues. - Accurately report and document issues in a timely manner.
- Identify second level support and escalate as needed.
- Acknowledge alarms in SCADA system.
- Reset system passwords for users. - Assist with routing head office calls.
