Job summary

The Louis Riel School Division/Le Division Scolair is seeking a Bus Driver for a term position in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will transport and supervise students to and from school or events, ensuring safety and reliability on all trips.

Requirements include a Class II licence, a 60-hour Driver Training, CPR, and experience with supervising children. Bilingual English-French skills and a willingness to adhere to division policies are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the School Division Bus Driver Training Program (60 hours).
• Hold a Class II Driver’s Licence and a School Bus Driver’s Certificate.
• CPR certification is required; Respect In School training or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum five years of practical driving experience and 6–12 months as a probationary bus driver.
• Experience supervising children; First Aid is an asset; bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and supervise Division students to and from school or events.
• Follow routes and schedules and ensure student safety during transport.
• Support the Division’s strategic actions as outlined in the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.
