NorQuesters are difference makers and we’re searching for someone dedicated to making a difference to join our Faculty of Health Studies team as temporary, full-time instructor in our Therapeutic Recreation program.
If you are someone who is looking to join a dynamic team of individuals who practice a we>they approach to delivering quality education, then the TR Instructor position is for you. Reporting to the Program Chair, the TR Instructor will work alongside like-minded individuals dedicated to helping our learners acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies required for future practice in Therapeutic Recreation. This position requires someone who is dependable, possesses excellent communication skills, likes to work with people, and has a desire to play at work & work at play.

This is temporary full-time position until June 30, 2026. The successful candidate must be able to teach in-person at the downtown Edmonton campus.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
As a NorQuest Instructor, you will facilitate learning in a variety of methods including; lecture, laboratory, and practicum learning. In the instructor role, you will assess, monitor, evaluate, and provide feedback to the students in order to facilitate the successful completion of their diploma program. Instructors help our learners acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be safe and successful health care practitioners

This is a Faculty role, and the pay range is quite large, check out the Faculty Collective Agreement Appendix A to better understand how pay is determined.
