The Ottawa Catholic School Board is seeking a term Early Childhood Educator to work with a school in Ottawa, Ontario. You will partner with classroom teachers to plan and deliver a full-day early learning program within a Catholic learning environment.

Under the direction of the Principal, the Early Childhood Educator

• partners with the classroom teachers(s) to plan and implement a full day early learning program;
• collaborates in the design of high quality and effective play-based programs and environments;
• supports enhanced physical, cognitive, emotional and social development within the context of a Catholic learning environment, as part of the Early Learning program team.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge And Skills

• an Early Childhood Education diploma or degree;
• registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Education;
• recent experience with kindergarten age children preferred;
• current First Aid and CPR certification.

In Addition, The Following Will Be Considered An Asset

• minimum two years experience;
• bilingualism;
• experience working in a school setting.

Status

To be considered you must be available to work based on the start and end date of the term assignment.

Salary

Hourly wage between $25.03 to $26.79 plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay
