Tenure-track Faculty Position in Painting

Join to apply for the Tenure-track Faculty Position in Painting role at Université Laval.

Position Details:

  • Teaching undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students in various programs offered by the School of Art.
  • Developing research-creation in the experimental field of image arts.
  • Practicing in painting.
  • Supervising research-creation projects at graduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Participating in the academic life of the School of Art.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant PhD, obtained or in progress, or an appropriate Master's degree with at least five years of recognized professional activity.
  • Sustained, recognized practice in painting, acknowledged in visual and media arts.
  • Experience in university-level practical and theoretical teaching.
  • Good knowledge of digital technologies.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French (courses available to improve language skills if needed).
  • Peer-reviewed publications are an asset.

Conditions:

  • Full-time, regular position.
  • According to the current collective agreement at Université Laval.
