Job summary

Pomerleau in Montreal, QC, is seeking a Civil Engineer to design temporary works, analyze plans, and supervise site installation. You will prepare models and fabrication drawings, compute notes for temporary structures, and support both proposal and project phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
2–7 years of relevant civil/structural design experience.
Full professional engineering license from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.
Knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or SketchUp is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design temporary structures (formwork, platforms, cofferdams) and supervise site installation.
Analyze project plans and specifications for permanent and temporary works.
Prepare models and fabrication drawings for temporary works.
Prepare calculation notes and participate in design reviews.
Provide technical support to construction teams and certify conformity.
